Man Commercial are pleased to announce the contract win of Two prestigious X leisure sites. The sites are located at Parrs Wood Manchester and Bentley Bridge Wolverhampton. Both will commence on the 1st January 2012. Our Operations Directors, Business Development directors and Managing Director are delighted to have won these contracts and look forward to a long and lasting working relationship with both sites.
December was also busy for us with various shows at the LG/ NIA including Kasabian, Def Leppard and Machine Head concerts.
December was busy with retail and we supplied Door Supervisors for Jack Wills throughout the UK & Ireland. We provided extra cover for DHL, GF Holding, Vertu Motors, Smyths toy stores and Moundsley Hall Care village.
With it being December our Keyholding section was also very busy with new contracts with Vertu and the Oltec Group. On the boxing front we supplied staff at the York Hall for Frank Warren Promotions. |

Man Commercial continued to be busy at the LG Arena and NIA. We provided cover for two Rihanna concerts along with shows from Alterbridge, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, WWE Wrestling, Tinie Tempah, Artic Monkeys, plus Brmb live and the sold out November 5th UFC show. For the UFC show we supplied four teams of response staff.
Man were also busy with Frank Warren and Queensberry promotions supplying staff at Halifax, Motherwell, York Hall and the big November 5th show at Wembley Arena Ricky Burns V Michael Katsidis all live on Boxnation.

On the Guarding side we commenced contracted cover for KWB in Birmingham, Talbot Design in Solihull, Thomas Vale in Oldbury and Vinci throughout the UK. Our Business development Directors and Operations Directors were busy throughout November with presentations and tenders. |

Man Commercial Protection Ltd continued to be busy during October with presentations throughout the UK. We were busy with events at the LG/ NIA supplying teams to 5 days at the Horse of the Year, Rhianna, Katy Perry and Britney Spears concerts . Staff were supplied for SKY TV on the Friday fight nights. Cover was provided at the Frank Warren/ Queensberry Promotions onBoxnation at Bowlers Manchester, York Hall, and the big Nathan Cleverley v Tony Bellew world light heavyweight title fight in Liverpool. We also covered the Tickets for Troops UK V USA Amatuer Show at the famous Royal Albert Hall, london. We won new mobile contracts with Vps and the oltec group, we commenced new work with Birmingham city council and Lovell construction.

September was a very busy month with Tenders and Presentations as we look to win new contracts and extend our coverage throughout the UK. MAN were awarded in the contracts for Whirlpool National Distribution Centre in Kent, B.Mason + Sons in Birmingham and the Betterware Head Office in Birmingham, all three will commence during November and December.
We were also busy with new store openings for Jack Wills throughout the UK. On the event side we supplied staff at the LG Arena for BAMMA7 and we covered the Bestival Festival on the Isle of Wight. On the boxing side we covered two Frank Warren Promotions at Liverpool Olympia and the Debra Charity night at the london Hilton Hotel. We also covered Queensbury promotions at the York Hall on Boxnation.

August was a fantastic month for MAN Commercial Protection Ltd with several prestigious new contracts commencing across the country. We started our Contract to supply staff in London on two office complexes for a major American corporation Bechtel. We also started our new contract award at Henley college in Coventry and Centro CCTV control centre in Birmingham.
We were also awarded in a contract for DHL at M&S distribution centre at Long Eaton in Nottinghamshire which will start in mid September.
Our long standing relationship with Selco trade centres moved forward with new contracts to provide cover in their stores in Slough and Minworth. 
Festivals were again busy in August with cover being provided at V-Festival at Weston Park and Creamfields. On the retail side of the business we had another busy month with Jack Wills stores up and down the country. Additional cover was provided for Avon Capital Estates, Thomas Vale, PGC Contractors and VPS.

Man Commercial Protection LTD enjoyed a busy again July with new contracts commencing with Bovis Homes, Vinci, Vertu Motors plc, Metropol , Paradigm Housing and Lovells.
We supplied our contracted ringside and backstage security for Frank Warren Promotions at the Echo Arena. This was for the SKY TV covered big fight night including Kevin Mitchell v John Murray and Ricky Burns v Nicky Cooke.
We continued to supply ringside security for BSKYB presenters on all SKY televised live fights during the month.
With it being July the Festival season was in full swing. We provided cover at several festivals including Sonisphere (England) Wakestock (Wales) T in the park (Scotland) all on one weekend.
In addition to this we supplied staff at the RAF Fairford Air show and Alexander Stadium for the International athletics. Finally staff were supplied in Sheffield for the Tramlines music event.

June was a very busy month for MAN Commercial Protection Ltd. We supplied concert security staff for Bon Jovi, Kings of Leon, Take That and the Artic Monkeys. As well as this we were on duty at the Download festival for 4 days at Donnington Park.
We supplied staff at the York Hall and for BSKY B. We also supplied cover for events for Fighters Inc, Eat your own Ears, ITV at Eastnor Castle, Harper Adams University College Summer ball and Rugby School private functions.
On the Key Holding side we won new contracts with Rolls Royce/ McLaren in Hockley heath, Nicklin in Birmingham along with others.
In our Manned Security division we commenced cover on a new Selco store in Slough, we covered Edas, Wates, Vinci, DHL, Plumbase and Jack wills. We started a new contract for Stockland Anglo Venture at Carolyn House in Croydon

MAN Commercial were very busy in May. New Keyholding contracts have been won with Nikaro, Sanctuary Carr-Gomm and Rybrook. New Contracts were also awarded by Lovells, Wates, Lawson Construction, PGC contractors, Redrow homes, Bovis Homes, MCS Build and Vinci.
On the event side of the business staff were supplied at York Hall for Boxing and the Kooks concert for SJM promotions. We are pleased to announce that we now are supplying more staff for Jack Wills throughout the UK. We also have been awarded the contract on new car parks managed by Birmingham City Council.
At the 02 Arena in London we supplied Press conference, weigh in, ringside and dressing room security for Frank Warren boxing show featuring James Degale v George Groves.
We are also proud to announce that we have been awarded the security contract for Henley College in Coventry which will commence on the 1st August - Well done to all the team. |

Man Commercial Protection Ltd had a very busy April. New contracts have been mobilised and our sales team have been working very hard winning new contracts and preparing tenders and presentations for others.
We have invested in the very latest Timegate Software. This will assist us and our clients greatly as we continue to invest in our 24 hour control centre based at our Solihull Head Office.
We mobilised new contracts including Solihull Community Housing, The Brewery centre in Romford, 1 Eversholt Street London,Hallmark Property Management and KWB head office in Birmingham all during the month of April.
On the event side we provided security for Frank Warren promotion at The York Hall, we also supplied Public Workout, Pressconference, weigh -in and the show for Amir Khan v Paul McCloskey world title fight at the M.E.N Arena in Manchester. Staff were also supplied for the AintreeGrand National festival. Also on the events side we covered N-Dubz, WWE and the Premier league darts at the NIA and LG Arena Wecommenced new sites for Lovell's, Jack Wills, Vinci, Lawson Construction and DHL. |

We also commenced new cover for Lovells, Wates, DHL, Healy civil engineers, Vinci Construction and Jack Wills. We were busy with the event side of the business supplying cover for Avalon TV, Sky TV and two Frank Warren promotions fights at Braehead Arena, Glasgow and Robin Park Sports Centre,Wigan.
We also provided security cover for the SKY television presenters on Saturday fight night. At the LG Arena and NIA we supplied staff for Justin Bieber, NE-YO, Crufts, The Script and Two Westlife shows.

MAN have had a busy February with new contracts secured including Lovells Construction at Droitwich, Wates Construction in Birmingham and Vinci Construction at Sunderland and Newport.
We also covered sites for KWB, Floors 2 Go , Harper Cavendish and MCS in Aston. We commenced new retail cover for Jack Wills in Glasgow and London.
Other new contracts were agreed in February that will commence on the 1st April, More news on these to follow soon.

The event side of the business also had a busy February covering Disney live, X factor live, My Chemical Romance at the LG Arena and NIA. We covered the Frank Warren promotion and the left Jab promotion at the York hall in February also. As well as these MAN provided security for SKY Television covering all the SKY presenters.

January was busy for MAN Commercial Protection ltd. As members of the UKCMA were delighted to hold the UKCMA Meeting in January at our headquarters. This was well attended by fellow members and industry providers. Also in January we received confirmation that we are now SIA Approved Contractors in 4 scopes with adding CCTV to our current Key holding, Door Supervision and Security Guarding. This is valid until December 2011. We have now been ACS for four years. The 24 Hour CONTROL Room was also upgraded with extra screens and more remote sites added to our system.
In January we passed our 3 day ISO 9001:2000 Audit. We have been accredited in this standard for 8 years. On the event side we have been busy at the LG Arena and NIA with Drake, JLS and Usher concerts. We covered events at the York Hall including Boxing and a Red Bull corporate event. Also we covered Events for Stratford Upon Avon town council functions. In the retail side of the business extra work was taken on for Jack Wills.

We were delighted to add Grey Paul Maserati to our Keyholding Portfolio. We now have numerous High Profile car dealerships including Bentley Birmingham, Sytner, Vertu, Toyota Solihull, Mini and BMW amongst our varied selection of keyholding sites.
The static side of the business was also very busy in January. A new contract was taken on with Chancery 2 Ltd. We also assisted MTC In Walsall and Thomas Vale in Derby. New Birmingham City Council contracts to our existing sites. We were also pleased to welcome back Redrow homes.
MAN Commercial Protection Ltd are pleased to announce that from the 1st January 2011 we have signed a two year contract with the Four X Leisure Entertainment centres in Lockmeadow Maidstone, Eureka Leisure II Ashford, West India Quay and Great North Finchley. We have also secured new sites in London that will commence in the coming months.

December was a busy month for MAN. We had staff at the LG Arena and the NIA with Faithless, Taste of Chaos, Bullet for my Valentine, Pendulum, 30 Seconds to Mars, JLS and two sold out nights for Kings of Leon. The Door supervision side of the business also had a busy month with work in Oswestry for the Christmas Light switch on and a variety of events at the Black Country Museum.
We continued our work with Sky TV and having teams on site for Friday Fight night. We also supplied teams for Boxing events at York Hall, Bethnal Green a variety of corporate events and the televised Moconi Cup which was held over four nights. On top of this cover was provided for the Return of the magnificent seven show which was a sky televised broadcast and Boxing events in Glasgow.
The Static teams were busy in December also with work including Lovells, Collins & Beckett, Thomas Vale Construction, Jack Wills Retail, Floors 2 Go, Inter & Sector Security and ICU Technology.

November was a busy month for MAN. The company acquired new contracts with Wates, Lovells, Thomas Vale and Handlesbanken.
Our Door Supervisors were also in operation with Crown Plaza, the NEC, Black Country Museum, Durham, Birmingham and Bristol cities. Our specialist division was also busy in November providing bespoke solutions to Rudell's and Howard's Jewellers in Birmingham.
On the event side MAN supplied teams at the LG Arena for WWE, Linkin Park, Paramore, Paul Weller and BRMB Live. Cover wasalso provided for Live Nation as they presented the White Lies concert at the York Hall in London.
Our Dog teams had a busy November working with DHL at Hamms Hall. Mobile teams also had a busy November working with WCL at Cranebrook Quarry, Vertu Motors and Avon Capital Estates.
We are also very pleased to welcome our two new Account Managers who are new and welcomed additions to our management team.

October was another busy month for MAN Commercial Protection Ltd. We had many new Static projects begin including a contract with Connect distribution for there distribution centre in Birmingham along with alarm response for there head office and distribution centre. We welcome back PGC Construction , We also took on more work for Thomas Vale, Lovells, Wates, John Sisk + son, Lawsons, Westbury Homes, And DHL in Birmingham and Northampton.
Mobile response was also busy with acquiring work in London for the Grafton group and MCS Build in Birmingham, As 24 hour keyholders we have taken on Amillan an more cover for Nikaro.
As event providers we received a excellent testimonal from the 5 days supplied at The Horse of the year show at the LG Arena from our client. We also covered the Michael Buble , Guns n' Roses and Avenged Sevenfold concerts.We supplied staff at the 02 Arena for the UFC, Plus Boxing at the York Hall for Frank Warren and Left Jab Promotions. MAN Covered the Ryder Cup, In Wales and our regular sky tv presenters for Sky Saturday night boxing. Other work included covering the freshers night at Durham University and we commenced a contract with a new car dealership in Leeds. All together a busy month.

Man Commercial Protection Ltd were very busy again in September with Events, Static Guarding and Keyholding. We supplied our contracted Security cover for FrankWarren promotions at the Kelvin Hall, Glasgow and also the massive Magnificent 7 show at the LG Arena in Birmingham. For this event we also supplied our specialist Response Teams. As well as these events MAN also supplied staff at the Famous York Hall in Bethnal green, London. In the Music field we supplied staff at the Bestival festival on the Isle of Wight and also the Muse concert at the LCCC, Manchester. The Popes visit to the UK was a very significant event and we were proud to supply staff for his visit to Cofton Park in Birmingham.
On the static side we commenced cover at Speake, Merseyside. We also provided extra cover at Mainstream, Saltley Birmingham and the new Infiniti car dealership in Glasgow. Mobile and Static patrols have been busy too providing cover for the new Rolls Royce & McClaren dealership which is being built in Solihull. We commenced cover for Thomas Vale and Birmingham City Council on sites in the midlands. We also covered the Debra Charity boxing night at the London Hilton Hotel, and the BAMMA 4 Event at the Lg Arena which featured Alex Reid v Tom Watson.
MAN Commercial Protection Ltd were proud to sponsor the Ivor Goodsite event held at the Library of Birmingham in September. The children had a wonderful day and the event helped raise awareness of construction at schools. It also helps to raise moral of the team on site and promote team building. Man Commercial Protection Ltd had a very busy August. We were working alongside promoters at some of the UK's largest festivals including V2010, Cream Fields and Manchester Pride.
The Key Holding side of the business has grown significantly recently with new contracts with Argos Stores and Nikaro FM Security.
On the static side we commenced cover with Westbury homes, DHL, Smyths stores in Durham and Gateshead and Vinci Construction in Whitley Bay.
We have also in August covered Exeter on a profile duty. We completed our cover at the cube in Birmingham for Price Waterhouse Coopers llp and received a great testimonal.

MAN Commercial Protection were busy in July submitting tenders and presentations. We are actively seeking acquisitions and will be making an exciting announcement on this very soon.
MAN took on more Key Holding contracts including Paul Rigby Volvo, North One Television, FM Security and ISC Techno logistics. We also took on an further 10 Nikaro sites as we increase our 24 hour service throughout the UK.
We also took on more Safe Estate mobile response sites. We provided extra mobile response for Sytner Solihull and Tarmac Leicester. We took on new work with Benfield Construction and assisted Rugby School and Oscott College with their summer events.
We supplied cover at Nailcote Hall and Stratford Civic Hall for private functions. On the Event side we supplied staff at T in The Park, Sonisphere Festival, Wakestock Festival, Global Gathering, Silverstone and Fairford Airshow.
We have also been chosen to supply cover again in September for Acorns charity Midnight Walk.
In July we received an excellent testimonial from Nikaro for our Nurse Escorts along with a H&S award from Wilmott Dixon.
MAN will also be sponsoring Carillion plc "ivorgoodsite " school children days in September at the Carillion New Birmingham Library site.

Man are pleased to announce that we have passed our 4th year annual SIA ACS audit in June. We are now audited until June 2011. The 4 day audit took place atour headquarters and was carried out by our assessing body ISOQAR ltd. It comprised of site visits, office audits and full internal/ external audits. We would like to thank our QA consultants Global QA for there valued support and assistance. Our ACS score improved by 90%.
Also in June we covered Lady Ga Ga, Black eyed peas and Jay Z at the LG Arena. We also covered the One Day International Cricket England v Australia at LCCC. We covered 5 days at Royal Ascot and the Epsom Derby. Our Staff worked day and night for the Download Music Festival Plus we also covered Silverstone and the Green Day concerts at the lCCC. Finally we supplied a team of staff for the Boxing at York Hall, London. We also supplied staff for rugby school party, Waseley School prom, Construction cover for Thomas vale construction and TCM ltd. |

May was a very busy month for MAN with events and shows. We supplied staff at Silverstone, Plus at the Lg Arena/ Nia we covered the General election pollingstation, Rhiana, Black Eyed Peas, MMA Event, Rod Stewart and Lady Ga Ga concerts We covered the Solihull Porsche corporate event in may , On the key holding / mobile response side we covered Greypaul Maseratti in Solihull, Paul Rigby Volvo dealership, We also took on 24O Alarm response sites for Safe Estates ltd, Plus nurse escorts and alarm response for Nikaro .
On the static side we have started new jobs with Lawson construction, CLM Construction, Wates, Armoury Group and Birmingham City Council. We covered Ringside and backstage on May 15th at Upton park, West Ham united FC For Frank Warren Promotions big Fight Kevin Mitchell v Michael Katsidis . We also covered the ABA Finals at the York hall along with our regular Friday fight night looking after the SKY TV Presenters. We also covered the prestigious SENI 2010 MMA Event on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30TH at the Excel Arena For Fighters inc.

Man Commercial Protection pleased to announce our Senior Event Supervisor Kevin Webster has been promoted to Operations Manager; Kevin has worked for Man now for 8 years. Kevin will manage all our Events throughout the UK.

Man supplied staff at Aprils Aintree grand national festival for the 3 days; We have also supplied staff at the Lag Arena for Whitney Houston, Rammstein, JLS, Xfactor, Lady Ga Ga, Stereophonics, Crufts Dog Show, Dj tiesto, 5o cents, and Premier league darts. We have supplied Boxing security at the Famous York Hall for The ABA semi finals and Finals, Left Jab Promotions and Steve Goodwin Promotions.
Man Commercial supplied staff in February for Frank Warren's night of champions at Wembley Arena also in march the British s uper middleweight title At the Echo Arena, Liverpool.
In the construction field we are delighted to have secured more work with Waters , Lovells and Anglo Holt construction. We are looking forward to a busy summer with events already confirmed.

MAN Commercial Protection has had an exciting start 2010 as we have been awarded the static guarding contract for the new Birmingham central library re- build. This state of the art project is being led by Carillion for Birmingham City Council and will last almost 3 years. The company is supplying static guarding, mobile response and live camera feeds to our 24 hour control room.
January has been a busy month for the company and its manned guarding section; we have been awarded new contracts with existing c lients such as Lovell, Wates Construction, and Armoury demolition. We would also like to welcome back Thomas Vale a construction company we have worked with on several previous projects.
Our retail section has this month taken on two more Smyths toy stores in Walsall and Cardiff with more being announced next month.
MAN Commercial Protection ventured into a new project with DHL late in 2009 where the company were sending in specialist security search and survey teams to distribution depots to deal with loss prevention and general site security. This project proved to work well and as a result this has been extended to another site with a planned project expansion throughout the year.

MAN Commercial the Brand
The company has now received approval documentation to register its logos, company name and associated information as registered trademarks which will further protect the company’s interests.
It has become apparent that clients are expecting more of the security guard regarding roles and responsibilities, which has led the company to research client requirements and career development paths for all staff members. We have been trialling a career development plan based on health and safety training and first aid qualification which although in its infancy has been extremely successful. This month we have completed the training and qualification of 40 members of staff in the City and Guilds level 2 Security Practitioner course, a course with its foundation in health and safety knowledge andawareness as well as Emergency Procedures. In addition to this 20 staff have completed the First Aid at Work course and another 20 the CSCS qualification in health and safety for the construction industry. All of the training has taken place at the training facility with in the company’s new HQ which has also hosted seminars, meetings and training for the SIA, BSIA and UKCMA. |

MAN Commercial Protection hosted a Security Industry Authority (SIA) training day at our head office facility. The training day was focussed on the use and issue of LDNs and was attended by representatives of various security companies who are part of the SIA Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS). The training day was part of a pilot scheme to inform companies of the correct legislation and procedures and the course will in future become part of the LDN process meaning companies will have to have trained representatives to issue LDNs. The day was a great chance to raise issues and questions concerning all aspects of the SIA in an informal environment.
The last few weeks have been extremely busy on the boxing circuit and MAN Commercial Protection has been involved in some great shows.
On October 30th the company provided security staff for the Frank Warren Promotions show at the Liverpool Echo Arena and the following week at the Odyssey Arena Belfast for the Rogan v Sexton Heavyweight Clash. The month of November was also busy for other promoters and MAN Commercial Protection supplied staff to the York Hall Bethnal Green on several shows including Left Jab Promotions and it was for Left Jab we covered an excellent charity night of boxing at the Tatterstalls Newmarket. The 4th December Frank Warren staged the a fantastic night of boxing at the Newcastle Metro Arena which saw the first defence by Amir Khan of his WBA Light Welterweight Title. The company were also asked to supply security to the British Boxing Board of Control awards show in London.
The company have continued with its contract to supply security to the NEC and NIA in Birmingham covering all major concerts including Kasabian, Arctic Monkeys, Pink, Beyonce, Muse and Clubland .
MAN Commercial Protection have continued to grow its static contracts and this includes new contracts with Taylor Woodrow, DHL, Wates and Safe Estates.
MAN Commercial Protection has entered into a contract with Safe Estates, to respond to void property alarms across Birmingham. The company have specialised in the area of void property inspections with a variety of clients including Birmingham and Solihull councils.
DHL the worldwide logistics and courier company is a new client to the company and as well as providing manned guarding services we have teamed up with depot managers and their loss prevention team to instigate site and staff searches. MAN Commercial Protection are also supplying specialist guard dog teams to DHL at sites nationwide.
The company is investing substantially in staff training and qualifications, especially in Health and Safety. We have forty members of staff currently working towards achieving the City and Guild 1912 for security practitioner and twenty members of staff booked into sit the health and safety test for the CSCS card. In the New Year we aim to broaden the qualifications offered to include First Aid, Risk Assessment and Health and Safety courses as well as the standard security licensing courses.

MAN Commercial Sponsor the Taylor Woodrow 5 aside Team. MAN Recently sponsored Taylor Woodrow in a Football Tournament by providing them with shirts for the event. The Event was a great success with many goals being scored!
IAAF World Half Marathon and the EDF Birmingham Half Marathon - This major event was held in Birmingham on Sunday October 11th and MAN Commercial Protection in Partnership with Firewalker Events was tasked with managing the entire security operation.
Both companies’ provided in excess of 300 staff each, manning road blocks residential parking areas and strategic points around the course. The staff were also deployed around the Broad Street area to look after athlete registration, media centres, stages and merchandise.
Although the manning levels were high the major concern of the operation was the deployment logistics, and getting each member of staff on position at designated times. So a fleet of mini buses were detailed to deal with this and throughout Saturday night and early Sunday morning all staff were deployed.
The race director carried out a final course inspection at 0700hrs and a few final adjustments the course was secured ready for the IAAF World Marathon.
At 0900hrs the elite women’s race set off on time followed by the men’s race at 0930hrs and then the Birmingham Marathon runners at 1000hrs. All went well through out the event and all races were completed without incident resulting in a successful collaboration of both companies’ staff.
Both Iain McCallister (Managing Director) and Craig Cullwick (Event Operations Manager) would like to pass on their thanks to all members of staff who worked on the event for the patience, enthusiasm and thoroughly professional approach to the their roles on the event.

Having settled into our new premises in July, August and September proved once again to be extremely busy. The events were still on going and there was increase in static and retail security contracts.
Our events manager Craig Cullwick had his hands full throughout August with music festivals and sporting events. The company supplied large numbers of staff to the following events;
SONISPHERE – A new rock festival staged for the first time at Knebworth, we supplied 65 staff a day to G4S supporting their security operation by providing our specialist response teams for the arena and campsite security and safety staff for the campsites.
GLOBAL GATHERING – Once again MAN Commercial Protection provided security staff to the two day dance extravaganza at the Long Marston airfield in Stratford.

V FESTIVAL – One of the major events of the summer music festival season, and this year the company supplied 160 staff per day, carrying out a variety of tasks including bar security, campsite security, access control and as usual running stage 3 (The Arena).
August Bank Holiday weekend saw the company cover approximately 400 shifts over four varying events. We again supplied for Creamfields in Liverpool covering all the bars, arena response and access search areas. We all supplied a specialist team to deal with ticket touts and bootleg merchandise which proved to very successful. We were also supplying staff to Manchester Pride and the Matthew Street festival in Liverpool as well as response teams at Lancashire County Cricket Club for the one day internationals.
As we moved into September we were still on the road supplying specialist ticket tout team to Bestival on the Isle of Wight, again another successful operation. The company also took on the Bunkfest which is a large folk festival held in Wallingford Oxford as well as supplying security staff to the Coldplay gig in Manchester. We are now into the new football season and we have been supplying staff to both Aston Villa and Birmingham City. After the traditional break we are now back in the season of professional boxing and we have continued our relationship with the York Hall Bethnal Green and are providing for all their major events.
Static Security
We have now expanded our coverage with existing construction industry clients and have taken on a variety of projects for Wates Construction, Wates Living Space, Lovells, Inspace, and Thomas Vale. We have also had a number of new clients such as Solihull Health Care, Birmingham City Council, and Plumbase were we are supplying static security. As well as these we have also taken on three new sites for Virtue Motors in Worcester, Redditch, Basildon and Cheltenham.
Retail Security
This is an area which the company continues to expand in and have recently been involved in a large project for Swedish furniture stores IKEA. We have also taken on a contract to provide retail security to Smiths toy store in Birmingham.
DHL
We have recently been involved with trialling a security project for DHL, which involves a security team arriving unannounced at sites and carrying out random staff, vehicle and site searches and identifying site security issues. The company will then assist in developing site security policies and procedures and monitoring there introduction into existing working practices. |

The last few months have been extremely busy for MAN Commercial Protection with the planned relocation of the office and the start of the main music and sporting event season.
As a preferred supplier of event staff to G4S Events, we have supplied over 180 members of staff covering more than 500 shifts at events such as Oasis (Heaton Park Manchester), Download 2009 (Donnington), and Take That (Old Trafford Cricket Club). This weekend (10th-13th July) the Company will be supplying 120 staff to T in the Park at Kinross Scotland.
The Company also supplied 40 staff per day to Showsec International for the Download 2009 festival.
We have once again successfully supplied staff to assist in the running of Oswestry Town Councils summer music event and the same for Solihull Borough Council. Theses two events we have now been supplying for several years and have led to an excellent working relationship with both Councils.
We have continued to provide security staff to Frank Warren Promotions and have recently completed shows in Belfast, London and two in Glasgow as well as supplying security staff to Sky Sports on all their boxing shows. On July the 18th we will be providing security for the Amir Khan World Title fight at the MEN arena.
Our relationship with the York Hall London has been further cemented and we have supplied staff for a wide variety of events including Boxing, Thai Boxing, MMA and other private functions.
As the contracted supplier of security to the NIA and LG arenas in Birmingham we have supplied for numerous shows including, Girls Aloud, Nickleback, Pink, Beyonce and many more.
MAN Commercial are pleased to announce that we have achieved the British Standards 18001 in Health and Safety and 14001 in Environmental Health. This involved an immense amount of work for many staff and has seen all our health and safety systems change. The result is that our new policies and procedures should improve the end service to our clients with staff training, risk assessments and more robust quality management systems.
Since the implementation of licensing the security industry has seen many changes and recently new qualifications and standards have been introduced. MAN Commercial Protection are committed to achieving these new standards so we have now under the direction of Skills For Security commenced the security practioner program a new NVQ based qualification for all security operators.
With the first staff all ready registered it is our aim to qualify all members of staff within the next year. This in conjunction with the above standards that have been achieved should improve the service to existing clients but assist us in marketing an improved service.
The Company have moved on with existing construction industry clients with us now manning four sites UK wide for Taylor Woodrow as part of the TESCO refurbishment program. We have welcomed new clients such as Inspace, and broadened our portfolio with Wates, Carillion and Lovells.
It is an exciting time for the Company with new office premises, improvements to quality management systems and desire by the management team to further expand and improve the business as a whole.
