Event Security and Stewarding

MAN Commercial Protection Ltd. specialise in supplying specifically trained staff to a wide variety of events covering major music festivals, sporting events, concerts and corporate functions. Our security personnel are trained to BS 8406 in Event Stewarding and Crowd Management standards and have gained the appropriate Security Industry Authority licence or Event Safety qualifications. All organised events regardless of size require security or stewarding staff if only for health and safety control. Our Events Managers have many years experience and we can supply full event support starting with organisational and planning assistance, security surveys, risk assessments, assignment instructions and post event reviews.

Although MAN Commercial Protection Ltd. supply the whole range of events security and safety staff we also specialise in providing response teams, search teams, anti merchandise teams and ticket tout operations.

Response Teams
All our response team personnel are SIA licensed and trained to a high standard in responding to emergency incidents or high priority occurrences within a wide range of events. All incidents differ and our teams are trained to follow a laid down procedure to ensure the correct response and that the incident is dealt with in a timely, effective and professionally manner.

Anti Merchandise and Ticket Tout Teams
A majority of events especially music and sporting events rely on the sale of official event merchandise, however over recent years there has been a sharp rise in the production of counterfeit and unlicensed merchandise and memorabilia. The cost to promoters and organisers is huge and this is why we as a company have trained specialist teams to work with event organisers in preventing the illegal sale of counterfeit merchandise. Our teams are trained to recognise illegal merchandise activity, legislation and guidelines, prevention and liaison with Local authorities.

Our SIA licensed security operatives have all carried out industry regulated training and we supply Security Guards, Door Supervisors, CCTV Operators and Close Protection Officers who undertake many roles including the control of access/egress, search, bar security, and the protection of VIP clients and artistes.

One of the most important roles of an event steward is that of public and staff safety, so all our personnel are currently undertaking NVQ 2 Event Safety Steward qualification. This qualification focuses on training staff in all areas of safety including, first aid, health and safety, fire safety, crowd management, and emergency (major incident) procedures.

MAN Commercial Protection Ltd. is a full member of the United Kingdom Crowd Management Association (UKCMA) along with all the major players within the Event Security Industry. This body is dedicated to implementing generic training and standards for all of its members ensuring that all clients benefit from a high calibre service.
